We’ve been doing this for quite some time so we’ve pulled together some of the more common questions we get asked.

Does Unknown Golf calculate or track a player's handicap?

Unknown Golf is Licensed with the USGA® and provides a seamless handicap integration between our Platform and the USGA for retrieving a Player's Handicap and posting their Event Score. Unknown Golf does NOT calculate a non-USGA® Handicap but does provide the ability to manually set a Player's Handicap for an Event.

How do I change my subscription?

Go to your profile page in Unknown Golf and go to the billing tab. You can manage your subscription here.

What if I don’t want my round posted?

When using quick play simply uncheck the auto post box. When building an event, at the event home page click on the post to USGA tab and select “delete all from USGA. Or go to player handicap and change the “post score to USGA” from “yes” to “no."

What’s the difference between play now, play later and create an event?

Play now is geared to get you and your friends on the tee box ASAP. Quick play is ideal if playing in one or two foursomes and quickly setting up a simplistic game and set of side bets. Play later, is Ideal if you want to set up a simplistic game and set of side bets to be played at a future date. Creating an event is ideal for more complex game set-ups. Anything from single day/single course to multi-day/multi-course, scramble to complex game formats and from 1 to 1,000 players tournaments and events can be managed here.

How do I edit a score post round?

From your play portal home page, select events from the left menu. Select your event from past events. Select “Edit Results”. You will be able to change a hole score here.
